Fi thought she was destined for career in a chemistry laboratory. A chance opportunity saw her step away from the lab bench and into the world of IP law. And she hasn't looked back.
After dipping her toes in the IP commercialisation pool at one of Australia’s largest medical research institutes, she realised IP was still a foreign and misunderstood concept for a lot of people.
Why can't the practice of IP law be as creative and practical as the ideas it looks to protect? Why can't IP law be more engaging, or even entertaining?
To be the change she wanted to see in IP law, she founded Girl Friday IP.
